At Kanter.ie, listing your horse for auction is completely free until the sale is successful. You can showcase your horse to a large network of potential buyers with no upfront costs or financial commitment. Our transparent and straightforward process ensures that you only pay fees once your horse is successfully sold, making it a risk-free option for sellers. Here’s how it works:
- No Upfront Listing Fees: There is no direct fee to list your horse in our auction. Instead, a registration fee of €229 + VAT is only deducted once the horse is successfully sold.
- Commission Structure: Our commission is split evenly between the buyer and the seller:
- Sellers are charged 5% of the final auction price.
- Buyers also pay a 5% fee based on the final sales price.
- In total, Kanter’s commission is 10% of the overall sales price, shared between both parties.
Deferred Registration Fee: The €229 + VAT registration fee is only deducted after the sale is completed. If the horse does not meet its reserve price, no fees are charged to the seller.
